In-House Head Title Position
WANTED - TOP TITLE POSITION FOR RAPIDLY GROWING ENTREPRENEURIAL FORT WORTH BASED OIL AND GAS COMPANY
THE COMPANY - Main Street Energy Company, located in the heart of Fort Worth, the company is a privately funded entrepreneurial oil and gas acquisition company that acquires non-producing and producing mineral and royalty interests, working interests and leasehold properties, primarily in Texas. Operating Partners are in their third year working together, along with a staff of about 20 professionals.
THE POSITION - Manage all title preparation and review, document interpretation, document preparation and redlining, management of all contracted land brokers, curative document preparation and execution, title opinion review, lease checks for open acreage or depth severances, provide guidance to support staff, clear title and outline business risks for acquisitions and trades, work with Land Administration department, Asset teams, and land support personnel to maintain internal land records.
ORGANIZATION - Report directly to the two Owners and Co-CEOs and serve on the five person executive management committee
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Establish, monitor and enforce title policies and procedures
Work with all departments to coordinate acquisition and divestiture efforts
Manage and provide guidance to support staff
Work with outside counsel when necessary
Conduct cursory research for leasing and acquisition efforts
Supervise and manage all title brokers
Manage and maintain internal inventory database and title records
Negotiate all company contracts
Locate necessary curative items through title review
Oversee all curative efforts through completion
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in land management, energy commerce, or other business related field
Three to ten years experience in land or legal related field
Experience in oil and gas industry desirable
Personal characteristics include impeccable ethics, willingness to work hard and ability to be a self starter
Ideal candidate would have a Juris Doctorate degree

Finance Position
WANTED - TOP FINANCE POSITION FOR RAPIDLY GROWING ENTREPRENEURIAL FORT WORTH BASED OIL AND GAS COMPANY
THE COMPANY - Main Street Energy, Located in the heart of Fort Worth, the company is a privately funded entrepreneurial oil and gas acquisition company that acquires non-producing and producing mineral and royalty interests, working interests and leasehold properties, primarily in Texas. Operating Partners are in their third year working together, along with a staff of about 20 professionals.
THE POSITION - Manage all cost and general accounting, financial activities, financial reporting, payroll processing, receivables and payables payments functions and banking relations as well as being responsible for financial and profitability analysis for all business investments.
ORGANIZATION - Report directly to the two Owners and Co-CEOs and serve on the five person executive management committee
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Establish, monitor and enforce accounting policies and procedures
Maximize investment return by managing cash balances and investments
Develop, maintain and monitor detailed profitability by deal accounting system
Provide financial condition of the investment inventory and company status by collecting, interpreting and reporting key financial data
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consult with outside advisors and file financial reports. Advise management of required actions and potential risks.
Manage Company’s insurance programs
Manage Company’s direct contract labor accounting, compensation, commission and bonus programs
Arrange for outside financial reviews or audits as required
File all required tax and financial reports in a timely manner
Prepare budgets, monitor and control expenses effectively
Serve as in-house consultant to analyze profitability and risk patterns of various investments
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or equivalent work experience
Three to ten years experience in accounting, finance, information technology or management consulting, preferably in medium-sized private or public companies
Experience in oil and gas industry desirable
Personal characteristics include impeccable ethics, willingness to work hard and ability to be a self starter
Ideal candidate would be a “want-to-be a CFO” in the near future
